The faculty at each college has the sole responsibility for the development and revision of all curriculum. Local Curriculum Committees, appointed by the Academic Senate, approve curriculum at the local level. As a condition for claiming Attendance, all of the following conditions must be met. 1) The course or the program of which it is a part must be approved by the Board of Governors in accordance with the provisions of Article 2 (Section 55100) of Subchapter1, Chapter 6. (2) The course must meet the criteria and standards for courses prescribed by Section 55002.
