This symposium focuses on enhancing the outcomes of California’s students by building the capacity to improve student performance in state-priority CTE areas continuously. \nThis professional development symposium will include Key Note Speakers:\n    – March 8\, 2023 Keynote Speaker\, Dr. Kevin Fleming \nOn March 9\, 2023: School Counselors are the most influential individuals on campus\, especially regarding guidance and career building. This symposium focuses on providing services that will help Counselors guide and lead their students and families. \nWe invite you to explore the aspects of high-quality CTE pathways/programs in Los Angeles County and tour the Los Angeles Trade Technical College. \nParticipants Will: \n\nLearn strategies to improve access to on-demand career trades and enhance the quality of existing CTE pathways/programs.\nIdentify compelling economic market data for CTE pathways/programs to inform program decisions that meet workforce needs.\nFocus on accelerating innovative CTE learning opportunities leading to increased student engagement and interest.\nExperience a facility tour to understand the students’ experience at Los Angeles Trade Technical College.
